In this quirky 1990 comedy-musical, Dean Cameron stars as Ralph, a lovelorn vampire cursed to lose his true love, Mona, every 22 years at the hands of a pirate. Still living with his eccentric mother (Toni Basil), Ralph finds Mona reincarnated yet again as a local singer in the early ‘90s. Desperate to break the cycle, he forms a band, Rockula, and tries to woo Mona before Halloween strikes. With wild musical numbers, a jealous ex-boyfriend (Thomas Dolby), and a cast of oddball characters, this offbeat film delivers a playful mix of romance, comedy, and rock ‘n’ roll.
