In 1897 Texas, a small town struggles to stay afloat as its local newspaper changes hands and strange reports begin to circulate. After a mysterious object appears in the nearby woods, several residents claim encounters with an unusual visitor. As skepticism divides the community, a determined schoolteacher investigates the growing number of sightings. Tensions rise between believers and doubters, especially as more witnesses come forward. What begins as rumor slowly draws the town into a series of events that challenge its sense of reality and trust.
