A decade after the invention of time travel, the U.S. government creates a special agency to prevent criminals from altering history for personal gain. Max Walker, a veteran agent of the Time Enforcement Commission, uncovers evidence that a powerful politician is using illegal trips into the past to advance his ambitions. As the investigation deepens, Walker finds himself caught in a dangerous struggle that spans multiple eras and threatens both the future and his own past.
