Full Circle: The Haunting of Julia (1977) is a supernatural horror film directed by Richard Loncraine, based on Peter Straub’s novel Julia. The story follows Julia Lofting (Mia Farrow), an American woman living in London, who, after the tragic death of her daughter, moves into a secluded house in an attempt to start anew. However, her new home is far from peaceful as eerie occurrences begin to unsettle her. Julia is soon drawn into a chilling mystery involving a vengeful spirit of a young girl that may be tied to her past. As she navigates these terrifying events, Julia’s grip on reality is tested. The film’s haunting atmosphere and unsettling plot deliver a slow-burn psychological horror experience.
