A salvage operation takes a chilling turn in this atmospheric zombie film from 1957. A group of divers arrives off the coast of Africa in search of sunken treasure—specifically a cache of diamonds hidden aboard a long-lost shipwreck. But the divers quickly learn that the waters they’re exploring are anything but deserted. The ship’s crew, undead and bound to the ocean floor, remain cursed to protect the treasure at all costs. With suspenseful pacing and eerie visuals, Zombies of Mora Tau offers a unique underwater take on the undead subgenre.
