In the 1976 monster movie "The Milpitas Monster," years of unchecked pollution and overflowing garbage at a California landfill give rise to a strange creature with an enormous appetite for trash cans. Resembling a giant humanoid fly wearing a gas mask, the monster begins terrorizing the community of Milpitas, leaving residents bewildered by its unusual feeding habits. As local authorities struggle to understand the threat, a group of high school students discovers the creature's existence and sets out to stop it.
