The Ghost of Flight 401 follows the aftermath of a passenger jet crash in the Florida Everglades. When usable parts from the wreckage are installed in other aircraft, passengers and crew members begin reporting unexplained sightings aboard the planes. Among the apparitions is Dom Cimoli, the flight engineer who died in the crash. Airline personnel initially dismiss the reports, but the growing number of encounters becomes increasingly difficult to ignore as investigators try to understand why the dead crewman appears aboard other flights.
