The 1959 Italian horror comedy “Uncle Was a Vampire” follows Baron Osvaldo Lambertenghi, an impoverished aristocrat forced to sell his ancestral castle, which is subsequently converted into a hotel. Reduced to working as a bellhop in his former home, Osvaldo receives an unexpected visit from his uncle, Baron Roderico, who happens to be a genuine vampire. When Osvaldo attempts to warn the hotel's guests, nobody believes him. Matters become increasingly complicated when his uncle's supernatural habits begin affecting Osvaldo himself, leaving his sweetheart Lellina to contend with the family's unusual predicament.
