Description:
In the English countryside, a man and woman become entangled in a string of brutal murders as they are pursued by both the undead and a suspicious inspector. The cause of the horrors may lie in an experimental agricultural device that uses ultrasonic radiation to kill insects—accidentally reanimating the dead in the process. Set against rural isolation and mounting dread, this 1974 horror film blends zombie terror with police procedural tension in a bleak and eerie landscape.
