In 1588, a damaged Spanish pirate ship seeks refuge along the English coast. The isolated village they encounter is easily misled into believing England has fallen, allowing the invaders temporary control. But tension simmers beneath the surface, and the uneasy occupation soon faces growing resistance. A coastal period adventure from Hammer Films, this film explores control, deception, and rebellion under the looming threat of the sea.
