Dr. Russell Marvin (played by Hugh Marlowe), a brilliant scientist, and his wife Carol Marvin (played by Joan Taylor) are on the brink of a groundbreaking discovery related to space travel. However, their scientific pursuits take a dramatic turn when a series of mysterious flying saucers begin to attack Earth's major cities.
