Former CIA agent Anthony Lawrence is abducted in London and transported to a secret installation in the Scottish Highlands controlled by the mysterious Madame Sin. There, scientists develop experimental technologies ranging from sonic weapons to devices capable of implanting thoughts. Madame Sin attempts to recruit Lawrence for an elaborate operation involving a new Polaris nuclear submarine and one of his former naval colleagues. Caught between intelligence agencies and Madame Sin's organization, Lawrence must determine who is manipulating him and prevent the submarine from falling into the wrong hands.
