A wildlife photographer visiting a wealthy Southern family’s island estate becomes concerned by signs of pollution and pesticide damage in the surrounding swamp. As the family prepares for a Fourth of July birthday celebration, strange and deadly incidents begin occurring throughout the property. Snakes, birds, reptiles, insects, and other creatures seem to be turning against the estate’s residents, while the stubborn patriarch refuses to abandon the island.
