A real estate tycoon leads a small group to Hart Island, where he plans to build a development called Hope City. The island, long used as a burial ground for New York’s unclaimed dead, holds a grim history beneath its soil. As tensions rise among the visitors—including a police officer and corrections workers—strange and deadly events begin to unfold. Cut off from help, the group must confront the island’s unsettling legacy.
