In sixteenth-century Spain, an Englishman travels to a remote castle to investigate the unexplained death of his sister. His search leads him into a household marked by grief, family secrets, and disturbing memories connected to the Spanish Inquisition. As strange events begin to unfold within the castle's shadowy halls, questions arise about what is real and what may be imagined. With tensions mounting and old traumas resurfacing, the investigation takes an increasingly dangerous turn.
