When a massive asteroid threatens Earth, a veteran commander is sent to lead a mission from orbital station Gamma 3 to destroy it. The operation succeeds, but the returning crew unknowingly brings back a strange substance that reacts to radiation and begins changing into dangerous lifeforms. As conditions aboard the station worsen, rivalries among the officers and a growing alien menace put the crew in increasing danger. This Japanese-produced science fiction adventure stars Robert Horton, Richard Jaeckel, and Luciana Paluzzi.
