Dr. DeMarco (Wendell Corey), a disgraced scientist, is conducting bizarre experiments at his hidden laboratory. He seeks to create a race of superhuman zombies using the reanimated corpses of recently deceased individuals. Meanwhile, a team of intelligence agents led by Holman (John Carradine) and his associate Satana (Tura Satana) is investigating a series of gruesome murders that seem to have a connection to DeMarco's experiments. The victims show signs of having been killed by superhuman strength and advanced weaponry.
