There he encounters the reclusive Baron Sardonicus, whose face is locked in a grotesque grin after a traumatic event tied to his father’s grave and a winning lottery ticket. As the doctor attempts to treat the baron’s condition, he uncovers cruelty, fear, and dangerous demands within the castle walls.
