In this 1987 sequel, a high school student discovers old prom memorabilia belonging to Mary Lou Maloney, a teenager who died decades earlier under grim circumstances. Strange incidents begin to unsettle the school as inexplicable visions and accidents surround those closest to her. When the past refuses to stay buried, the atmosphere shifts from curious to dangerous, leaving the young woman at the center of it all to face the consequences of a spirit unwilling to be forgotten.
