"Carry On Screaming!" is a delightful blend of comedy and horror set in the Edwardian era. The story unfolds in Hocombe Woods, where Doris Mann is abducted by a monster named Oddbod during a romantic outing with Albert Potter. Albert, in a panic, discovers a severed finger and seeks help from the local police, led by the bumbling Detective Sergeant Sidney Bung and his assistant, Detective Constable Slobotham. Their investigation leads them to the mysterious Bide-A-Wee Rest Home, run by the seductive Valeria and her electrically charged brother, Dr. Orlando Watt. As they delve deeper, they encounter a series of bizarre events, including the creation of Oddbod Junior and a sinister scheme involving mannequins. With a mix of slapstick humor, quirky characters, and a touch of the macabre, "Carry On Screaming!" parodies classic horror themes, delivering laughs and chills in equal measure.
