A young nurse arrives at a remote rural sanitarium to begin a new position, only to find the facility in disarray after a shocking incident involving its lead doctor. As she settles in, she encounters a group of deeply disturbed patients left largely unsupervised, each living within their own fractured reality. Strange and violent events begin to unfold, and the nurse struggles to understand who is truly in control of the institution.
