In the 1968 British horror film Corruption, prominent plastic surgeon Sir John Rowan is devastated when his young fiancée, Lynn, is badly disfigured in an accident. Determined to restore her beauty, Rowan experiments with an unconventional surgical technique involving laser technology and pituitary glands. His initial success comes at a terrible cost, and maintaining Lynn's restored appearance demands increasingly desperate measures. Peter Cushing stars as the troubled surgeon, with Sue Lloyd as Lynn, in a contemporary tale of medical obsession, guilt, and murder.
