"Starman" is a 1984 science fiction romance film directed by John Carpenter. The story begins when an extraterrestrial being, portrayed by Jeff Bridges, crashes on Earth. Taking the form of a deceased man, he encounters a widow, played by Karen Allen, whose late husband's appearance he adopts. The alien seeks her help to travel to a rendezvous point where he can be picked up by his fellow beings. As they embark on a cross-country journey, the film explores themes of love, humanity, and the challenges of understanding each other. "Starman" combines elements of science fiction with a heartfelt love story, making it a unique and emotionally resonant film.
