In the 1998 horror film Phantoms, sisters Jennifer and Lisa Pailey arrive in the quiet mountain town of Snowfield, Colorado, only to discover it mysteriously abandoned. Local law enforcement and outside authorities attempt to determine what has wiped out the population, uncovering signs of a violent and unnatural presence. As tensions rise and disappearances continue, a small group struggles to understand the threat surrounding them and find a way to survive. The investigation draws on science and fear as Snowfield reveals its grim secrets.
